1. Introduction

Welcome to the TEBBR platform. TEBBR provides a specialized digital environment to organize the display of gold jewellery and bullion and offers tools to help you review products and communicate before making a purchase decision. By using the platform or creating an account, you agree that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and policies.

2. Definitions

  • Platform: TEBBR’s online gold trading platform.
  • User: Any person visiting or using the platform.
  • Customer: A user who purchases products through the platform.
  • Merchant: A licensed person or entity listing gold products on the platform.
  • Products: Gold jewellery and bullion listed for sale on the platform.
  • Services: All technical, operational and logistical services provided by the platform.

3. Nature of the Platform

TEBBR acts as a specialized technology platform to organize buying and selling of gold online. Licensed merchants list their products and customers can browse and request to purchase. Unless otherwise stated, TEBBR is not the actual seller; sales are conducted between the merchant and the customer based on the information shown in the platform.

4. Scope of Terms

These terms apply to all users accessing or using the platform by any means and to all services unless specific additional terms are provided for a particular service.

5. Eligibility

The platform may be used only by persons with legal capacity to conduct financial transactions. The user confirms: (a) they meet the legal age, (b) have the capacity to purchase, and (c) provide accurate information. TEBBR may suspend or cancel accounts with incorrect data.

6. Account Creation

  • Provide true and up-to-date information
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity performed through your account

7. Account Security

Users must take all measures to secure their account. If unauthorized use is suspected, notify TEBBR immediately. The platform is not responsible for losses resulting from user negligence.

8. Acceptable Use

Users must use the platform lawfully. It is prohibited to conduct illegal activities, attempt to hack systems, disrupt services, or use data/content without permission. Accounts violating these terms may be suspended.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

TEBBR protects user privacy and does not use consumer data for promotional marketing. Collected data may include name, phone, email, account info, orders/transactions and technical data such as IP. Data is used to manage accounts, improve experience and comply with regulations.

10. Product Display

Merchants display gold items with essential information such as karat, weight, making (labour) fees and images. While TEBBR strives for accuracy, product description accuracy remains the merchant’s responsibility.

11. Image and Info Accuracy

Clear and accurate images are provided as much as possible; minor differences may occur due to lighting or screen settings. Images may not represent a 100% identical view of the actual product.

12. Pricing

Final prices depend on: global gold price (automatically linked for all items), weight, labour (making) fees and VAT. Prices update periodically due to market movements.

13. Gold Price Risk

Users acknowledge gold prices fluctuate. The applicable price is the price shown in the platform at the time of hand‑to‑hand delivery at the door. TEBBR is not responsible for later price changes.

14. Sharia Handover

TEBBR adheres to the Islamic hand‑to‑hand exchange principle. Handover is achieved upon physical delivery to the customer at the door following approved delivery procedures.

15. Delivery

  • Orders are delivered via a specialized courier contracted by the merchant; TEBBR’s role is to organize orders electronically.
  • Order tracking is provided for organizational purposes only.
  • Responsibility for transport shifts from merchant to courier upon handover and remains with the courier until delivery to the customer.

16. Refusal/Cancelation & Fees

  1. Before physical receipt and before removing the security seal: the customer may refuse; shipping and related service costs are borne by the customer.
  2. In cases of excessive courier delay or item out‑of‑stock: shipping fees are refunded (platform service fees are not).

If repeated refusals cause disruption or harm to merchants, the platform may apply measures such as restricting services or suspending the account.

17. Returns

Users can inspect the product before purchase through detailed images, live video calls to view and weigh the item, TEBBR Studio (AI try‑on), and consulting the platform advisor. Completing the purchase and receiving the item constitutes final acceptance. Returns after delivery are only possible as outlined in clause 16.

18. Anti‑Fraud

TEBBR strives to provide a safe, trusted environment and prohibits unlawful activities or manipulation. Unusual orders may be reviewed and actions may include review, hold, cancelation or account suspension.

19. Anti‑Money Laundering

TEBBR complies with applicable UAE AML/CFT regulations. Use of the platform for illegal transactions is prohibited. Transactions may be reviewed and additional KYC information requested. In case of suspicion, transactions may be suspended and authorities cooperated with.

20. Intellectual Property

All rights in TEBBR including trademark, design, content and technology are the exclusive property of TEBBR and may not be used without prior permission.

21. Liability

TEBBR provides an electronic platform to display products and organize orders. TEBBR is not liable for indirect damages arising from use, nor for disputes between merchant and customer, or for transport/delivery operations handled by the courier.

22. Force Majeure

TEBBR is not liable for delays or failure due to circumstances beyond control such as natural disasters, technical failures or governmental decisions.

23. Dispute Resolution

Parties shall first seek amicable settlement. Failing that, disputes shall be referred to the competent courts in the United Arab Emirates.

24. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

25. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.

26. Amendments

TEBBR may amend these terms from time to time. The updated version will be published in the platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the amendments.
